Many first responders experience symptoms such as inattention, restlessness, forgetfulness, or racing thoughts due to chronic stress, trauma exposure, poor sleep, anxiety, or burnout. These experiences can look similar to ADHD, so a professional assessment is the best way to determine the underlying cause and identify the most effective treatment.
